TACS Scholarships

The Texas Association of Community Schools (TACS) awards two (2) $1000 scholarships annually. The sponsor of the scholarships is listed below with the specific criteria for the award:

The Fowler Law Firm Scholarship

A $1000 scholarship awarded to a graduating senior that will be attending college in the Fall with a stated goal of entering the education profession.

                                             Johnson Controls Scholarship

To apply for the scholarships, the student should send a completed application; include a small picture of the applicant, to TACS by April 1, 2010. The student selected will be presented the scholarship at their school. If you have any questions, please call TACS at 512/440-8227.  You may apply for both scholarships if you meet the criteria.

A $1000 scholarship awarded to the son/daughter of a TACS Institutional Member Superintendent.  The graduating senior will be attending college or post secondary instruction in the Fall.
